1. Terminology
1.1 For the rest of this document, you the client will be referred to as “You” or “Your”. True North Media the business will be referred to as “We”, “Our” or “Us”.
2. Agreement to Terms and Conditions
2.1 By completing the subscription payment issued by Stripe on behalf of True North Media, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2.2 The most up-to-date terms can be found on the True North Media website (https://truenorth-media.com/subscription-terms-and-conditions)
2.3 Each time you complete a payment with True North Media you agree to the latest terms & conditions.
3. Intellectual Property Rights
3.1 We own the rights to the website, HTML and source code that we create.
3.2 You the client own the rights to any website content or assets provided by you, such as images, videos, graphics, reviews.
3.3 If we have provided you with a domain, then we own that domain. If you request ownership of the domain, we will transfer the ownership to you free of charge.
3.4 We do not take ownership of your domain; we only connect our website to your domain.
4. Cancellation policy
4.1 We do not hold you to any payment contract, only the terms & conditions outlined in this document.
4.2 You are free to cancel your monthly subscription at any time.
4.3 You can cancel the payment yourself, or by contacting us via email and we will stop your payment.
4.4 If you cancel, or request cancellation of your subscription, we will disconnect the website from your domain, and pause any maintenance & SEO services. You will need to reconnect your domain back to your own website.
4.5 If we have purchased a domain on your behalf, we will transfer the domain to you on request. If no request is made for your domain, we will let it expire and re-enter the open market.
5. Price Increases
5.1 We won’t increase the price of your subscription more than once per year.
5.2 We won’t increase your subscription amount in the first 12 months of your subscription.
5.3 We will let you know at least 90 days in advance if we plan to increase your subscription and the date of your subscription increase.
5.4 Please note we have no current desire to increase subscription prices in the near and distant future, though in the current climate of high inflation, it may be necessary to ensure we can continue operating.
6. Refund policy
6.1 We operate a no-refund policy. We have no contracts and you the client are free to cancel your subscription at any moment.
7. Disclaimer
7.1 We are not an SEO agency and we don’t promise leads, we are a website & design agency. We set up your website to be on-page SEO optimised to have the best chance of ranking higher on search engines. There are many factors that affect search engine ranking, current market conditions, new technology, and how much work you put in can also affect results - building a social media following, posting videos, getting reviews, etc. What we’re delivering is a modern website that is set up to convert traffic and have the best chance at ranking higher.
8. Website revisions
8.1 You the client, are entitled to one free website revision session per month.
8.2 One website revision session equals up to two hours of work by us.
8.3 You will be contacted every quarter, to request any revisions and content for SEO purposes.
8.3 Any extra website revisions may be subject to £50 fee per session upon agreement between us and you. This is to protect us and our time from anyone who wants to exploit us.
